A non-refundable holding fee of £50 is paid in advance. In addition a deposit (2 weeks fee – this is at the nurseries normal childcare price) is then required to secure your Childs place with us. Payment is requested ASAP to secure your child’s space. The deposit will be held on account by Children 1st and 50% refunded after the child has left.
A minimum of 4 weeks written notice is required to terminate the contract. If 4 weeks written notice is not given prior to your child leaving then the deposit will NOT be refunded.
Children eligible for funding
Terrific twos
This applies to specific two year olds. Parents must contact Enfield Council (Informed Families – IF) for confirmation. Informed Families will give you a 5 Digit Reference Number and this is given to the nursery for registering. Your child starts the term after their 2nd birthday.
3-4yr old funding
This applies to all 3 -4 year children. Your child can start the term after their 3rd birthday.
30 hours funding
This applies only to 3-4 year old children whose parents work. You must contact HMRC to see if you meet the criteria and register. HMRC will give you an 11 Digit Reference Number and this is given to the Nursery to check eligibility.
Registering
When registering with the Nursery for funding you must email the following information to children.1st@hotmail.co.uk:
- The Child’s Full Name
- The Child’s Date of Birth
- Full Postal Address
- Parents Full Name
- 5 Digit Reference Number given from the Informed Families (Local Authority).
- This is For Terrific Two funding only.
In additional to above information – if your child is receiving the 30 hours funding – you will also need to forward the following information.
- Parents National Insurance Number
- Parents Date of Birth
- Full postal address (If different to child)
- 11 digit Reference Number given from HMRC
Attendance
Choose from either:3 days doing 5hrs a day. 8am-1pm or 1pm-6pm. Or2 days doing 7.5 hours a day – 9am -4:30pm(30 hours funding) – 3 days doing 10 hours a dayor 4 days doing 7.5 hours a day (9am-4:30pm)
Funding is Term Time only.Term times are: September – December, January – March, April – July.
Additional Days
Additional days can be requested depending on availability. This will be charged according to the Nurseries normal childcare cost.
Dinner Money
If your child attends for the 15 hours or 30 hours Funding ONLY – Childcare is FREE. An additional £2.50 per meal is required. Choose from Breakfast, Lunch or Afternoon snack. Dinner money is payable in advance. If your child does not attend – Dinner money is not refundable or transferable.
Nursery Closure
Children 1st is open 39 weeks of the year – Term Time Only.The Nursery closes for all Bank/ Public and school holidays.
The Early Years Pupil Premium (EYPP)
Your child may be eligible for EYPP from the term after your child´s 3rd birthday. This is additional Funding made to Children 1st Day Nursery to ensure that we provide the best outcomes for your child.
By giving the Nursery your National Insurance, we can check your child´s eligibility as soon as they turn 3 years old. If your child meets the criteria – the Nursery can receive £0.53p for each hour attended. This is paid in accordance to your child receiving the 15hrs Free Funding.
The information you provide will be used by Enfield Council to check eligibility.
